Composition per liter:

K2HPO4.............................................................7.32g

Ammonium tartrate.............................................4.6g

KH2PO4.............................................................1.09g

MgSO4·7H2O....................................................0.04g

FeSO4·7H2O......................................................0.04g

CaCl2·2H2O ....................................................0.014g

MgSO4·7H2O..................................................0.002g

pH 7.5 ± 0.2 at 25°C

Preparation of Medium: Add components to

distilled/deionized water and bring volume to 1.0L.

Mix well and warm gently until dissolved. Distribute

into test tubes or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15

psi pressure–121°C.

Use: For the cultivation and maintenance of Achro

mobacter species and Alcaligenes species.
