Brain Heart Infusion Broth with 6.5% NaCl

培养基配方
Composition per liter:
NaCl.........................................................65.0g
Pancreatic digest of gelatin.................................14.5g
Beef heart, infusion from (solids)............................6.0g
Peptic digest of animal tissue................................6.0g
Glucose ......................................................3.0g
Na2HPO4 ......................................................2.5g
pH 7.4 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks while shaking to distribute precipitate. Autoclave for 15 min
at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use:  For the differentiation of enterococci from nonenterococcal species.
