Na-acetate·3H 2 O...........................................................................5.0g
Glucose .........................................................................................4.0g
Maltose..........................................................................................4.0g
Meat extract ..................................................................................3.0g
K 2 HPO 4 ·3H 2 O...............................................................................2.6g
(NH 4 ) 2 citrate................................................................................2.0g
Cysteine-HCl·H 2 O........................................................................0.5g
MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O................................................................................0.1g
Mn SO 4 ·4H 2 O ..............................................................................0.05g
Tween™ 80................................................................................1.0mL
pH 6.3 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use: For the cultivation of Lactobacillus panis.
