Composition per liter:

Yeast extract..................................................................................0.5g
Proteose peptone...........................................................................0.5g
Casamino acids.............................................................................0.5g
Glucose.........................................................................................0.5g
Soluble starch................................................................................0.5g
Sodium pyruvate...........................................................................0.3g
K 2 HPO 4 .........................................................................................0.3g
MgSO 4 ·7H 2 O..............................................................................0.05g
pH 7.2 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use: For the cultivation of Limnobacter thiooxidans.
