Composition per liter:

Glucose ....................................................................................120.0g
NaCl .........................................................................................100.0g
Agar ...........................................................................................20.0g
Malt extract ................................................................................20.0g
Yeast extract .................................................................................5.0g
pH 6.5 ± 0.2 at 25°C
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks. Steam for 30 min at 0 psi pressure–10°C. Overheating will
cause softening. Final aw is 0.88.
Use: For the cultivation of Aspergillus vitricolae.
