Composition per liter:

Pancreatic digest of casein.......................................................... 10.0g

NaCl .............................................................................................. 5.0g

pH 7.5 ± 0.2 at 25°C

Source: This medium is available as a premixed powder from Oxoid

Unipath.

Preparation of Medium: Dissolve 15.0g in 1.0L of distilled water

and distribute into final containers. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121°C

for 15 min.

Use: For the cultivation of production of indole by microorganisms.
