Trace Elements Solution:
Composition per 100.0mL:
H3BO3 .....................................................................0.5g
(NH4)6Mo7O24 · 4H2O.......................................................0.5g
KI........................................................................0.05g
NaBr......................................................................0.05g
Al2(SO4)3 ·18H2O.........................................................0.03g
ZnSO4 ....................................................................0.02g
Preparation of Trace Elements Solution: Add components to
distilled/deionized water and bring volume to 100.0mL. Mix thorough-
ly.
Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized
water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Distribute into tubes
or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.
Use:  For the cultivation and maintenance of Azotobacter vinelandii.
