Composition per liter:

Agar ..................................................................15.0g

Tap water............................................................ 1.0L

Preparation of Medium: Add agar to 1.0L of tap

water. Mix thoroughly. Gently heat and bring to boil

ing. Autoclave for 15 min at 15 psi pressure–121°C.

Pour into sterile Petri dishes.

Use: For the cultivation and differentiation of fungi

and aerobic actinomycetes based on filament and

aerial hyphae morphology.
