Composition per liter:

Na2HPO4..................................................................................... 3.55g

KH2PO4....................................................................................... 3.40g

MgSO4·7H2O .............................................................................. 2.47g

CaCl2, anhydrous ........................................................................ 1.12g

Proteose peptone ........................................................................... 0.5g

Yeast extract.................................................................................. 0.5g

pH 6.5 ± 0.2 at 25°C

Preparation of Medium: Add components to distilled/deionized

water and bring volume to 1.0L. Mix thoroughly. Adjust pH to 6.5.

Distribute into screw-capped tubes or flasks. Autoclave for 15 min at

15 psi pressure–121°C.

Use: For the cultivation of Tetramitus rostratus.
